It does not say exactly where in Alabama, but if it's anywhere near the Gulf coast - like Mobile, for example, then it has no choice but to be rusty from all the salt in the air. Hell - even midland it would still get it. I used to live in Louisiana and the older, not taken care of so well cars there were toast.

ouch that fender tag is gone, howd he even get the numbers??? somebody will buy it and either cut it up or turn around and try to sell it for bj prices  :rotz:

One battery explosion in 37 years, and you will see an entire drivers side messed up like that. Probably more contributed to it though.
