I'm glad Chargers didn't have this option

Because it rarely compliments any car made after the 50's very well. :eek2:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm sure you can get that "Continental Kit" for any car, & isn't it just an aftermarket company? Kind of like fender skirts. I don't like it either & on that purple car, I'm thinking "pimp" with a large brim hat, fur coat....

The car is in nice shape, but the kit on the back needs to be scrapped.  :eek2:

According to the ad, it sez the continental kit was factory optioned, along with the purple paint. Any Magnum guru's wanna weigh in on that one? ;D
I agree, the rest of the car looks nice.

Don't hate me, kinda funky.  If it really was an option, all the better.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Wow, a Purple Mopar I can afford. I am so selling the Chally.

Hell take the tire off and add a seat belt and you got some fun for the whole family! (Or drunken adventures)

Imagine the traction if that tire was full of ballast.

I doubt like h*ll it was an option :eek2:.  It's possible that the dealer installed a universal one.  I've been around these cars a lot and this is the first one I've seen.
70 Charger R/T - 440/6
07 BMW 328iS
04 GMC SLE 2500 Diesel

I wonder if that Pimp had the clear glass high heel's with a goldfish swimming in it? :coolgleamA:

I did my best to destroy all the continental kits I could, used to use them for motorcycle rear fenders before they were available commercially.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

There's a reason for that!

I call   :icon_bs: on the factory Purple paint!  I had a 79 magnum GT and that was NOT a color on those cars either year, Not even listed as a Mopar color in those years.

www.autocolorlibrary.com is a great resource for PPG paint chips.

BROCK

Remove the spare tire & you've got a mother-in-law seat
Shouldn't change vehicle dynamics or weight bias at all.  They're
both filled with hot air :smilielol:

I have a 78 parts car, It's donating all the big block parts, bigger brakes, the K-Member and all the suspension stuff to my 73 Charger that came with a 318 and the rear sway bar is going into a buddy's 71 Road Runner.

And before anybody starts arguing, YEAH this is ALL the same parts, those cars are the same as all 73 up b-bodies, I've done this swap a couple times! AND YEAH you DO have to change K-Members in 73-74 Chargers and Road RUnners if you want a big engine and it came with a small one. Unless you hack up the k-member and make custom mounts.

SO if ya need Doba parts.......  ;D
