probably problems with shipping with a seller

I got some stuff on ebay. When made the payment I told him about IF HE SHIP this week, be sure will be delivered on 21 Dec as last day, since my warehouse in Miami will close the doors for vacations. If not then hold the shippment to Jan 2 since is the day when my warehouse will come back to work again.

As being very usual latelly, he didn't follow instructions ( and I messaged 4 times with same instructions ), and apparently he shipped today. OF COURSE never will arrive tomorrow. so maybe postal service will find on monday or tuesday doors closed.

What can I do from the distance ? seller didn't gave me tracking yet. I'm telling he made the mistake he has to fix it because told me on a mesagge "i guess you should call the post office to hold the mail until you get back then" .... but anyway I'm trying a Plan B from teh distance. Still don't have tracking number.

Beside that I'm trying to discover what happened with another package sent by USPS, that does appear like DELIVERED, but warehouse crew apparently didn't get... some suggestion ? Seller frowarded me the shipping addres he used and does look everything correct. Something to do that you know ?

If they attempt delivery when the warehouse is closed they should leave a slip of paper with instructions for re-delivery or a pick up address.
