How hard is it to install a vinyl top??Any tips??What kind of adhesive would be best??Pics??
God must love stupid people....he made a sh**load of 'em....

Thanks alot.What kind of prep do I need to do?? I told the painter to just prime the roof ,maybe clear it. Why waste the paint??

Poppa,
I gave the roof just one coat each of sealer, then base, & then clear. This was just to have some kind of coverage & to protect against further corrosion. The factory just left the roofs in primer, so with a little paint & clear there is waaaay more protection than it was before.

I then hand-scuffed it with 220 to remove any nibs in the clear that may have shown up later. I didn't go nuts, just a light scuffing was all that was needed.
