Being a BILLS and BUCS fan I am not much of a FISH fan, but I must admit I was cheering on the fish today.. :boogie:

He's lost the respect of his players but yet the owner says he'll be back next year.  Not the offensive guru he's cracked up to be.

Maybe the Fish will have a two game win streak after next week.  How fitting would that be.  ;)

Well being a die hard Dolphins fan it was great to see. They should have won a few other games already this year. It seems that things have went against them at times, or they shoot themselves in the foot. Should have won the game opening day against the Redskins. Should have beat the Jets the first time they played. Both of those games they had the leads and let them go. Heck they should have beat the Giants over in London.

They still have the Bengals the last week of the season which should be another win, and oh yeah they play some team in New England next week, which would make for a 3-13 year.

Well lets not forget who handed the Patriots a loss last year at a score of 21 to ZERO.

Oh yeah it was the Dolphins.

I also seem to recall a late season Monday night game a couple years back, in which the severe underdog Miami team pulled off the upset against the Pats.

Maimi is traditionaly the Patriots upset team.  I'm expecting a good game.

Well if you go back statistically speakin the Dolphins must be a spoiler team of all but 4 teams in the NFL, as they have an all time winning record against all but 4 teams in the NFL. And a huge margin against their divisional teams excluding the Jets, who for some reason always seem to have the dolphins number.

Speaking of fish, sounds as though they caught themselves a Big Tuna.

Former NFL coach Bill Parcells has agreed to a four-year deal proposed by owner Wayne Huizenga to make him the team's head of football operations, a source has told The Miami Herald.

Huizenga was at the Dolphins' training facility for approximately one hour, from 4:45 p.m. to just before 6 p.m., where he met with Cam Cameron in the coach's office. The futures of both Cameron and general manager Randy Mueller are currently unknown.

The negotiations have been on-going between Parcells' agent, Jimmy Sexton, and Miami owner Wayne Huizenga throughout the day. The Dolphins are not commenting publicly about the deal.

Although published and Internet reports early Wednesday said Parcells was ready to take an offer from the Atlanta Falcons to become their vice-president in charge of football operations -- a job that would grant him the power to hire a general manager and head coach -- Parcells backed out of that offer later in the day.

''Prior to the information becoming public, we reached agreement in principle with Bill,'' Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement. ``We met this morning to complete the contract. At that time we were made aware that he is considering a revised offer from the Miami Dolphins.

``He later informed us he would not be signing a contract with us.''

An ESPN report stating Parcells had backed out of the deal with Atlanta and was talking to the Dolphins flashed across the multiple plasma TV screens in the Miami locker room while players were between practice and meetings.

''We're going to have a new daddy,'' offensive tackle L.J. Shelton joked.

Defensive tackle Vonnie Holliday sees adding Parcells as a good thing.

''We talk a lot throughout this league and Bill Parcells is one of those names that if he comes in and he's on board, he's a guy that's going to get things going in the right direction,'' Holliday said. ``He's the Big Tuna.''

Jeff Darlington contributed to this report.
