setting pinion spacing and 8.75 rearend overhaul questions

Ive never quite done a complete rebuild on a 8.75 rear end, so i need someone to point me inthe right direction, whether itd be manual or just some friendly advice, either one will help greatly, thanks

I would recommend doing some surfing and reading on the internet first.  There is all kinds of info on doing just what you want to do.  After all is said and done, you may end up wanting to do what I am thinking about doing.  Assemble all of the parts needed, do all of the cleanup work, painting, etc. and then find someone in your area to do the actual setup of the ring and pinion.

might try that method, cause after several hours of searching and reading, im still lost, my problem is that theres not a lot of shops around here that have put together a 8.75 chuck.  Ive been told by one that they wont even try because of its complicity?    i just dont think they know what there doing.
