I have a 73 Charger with a 400 and a 727 with a 8 1/4 rearend. I can't find a 8 3/4or a Dana 60 for it to save my life so I thought maybe I would get a new one. It looks like Moser's 60 may begood, but a bit spendy. Anyone have experience with them? Anyone else make a good rear end that won't break the bank? I would like to put coil overs in it later on too if that helps.

check with member joel, he has a 73 8.75(8 3/4) rearend housing for sale and ive seen several thrid members for sale on moparts, one for 50 bucks.  as for the moser, i was going to put one in but it would break the bank, if you know what i mean. so i chose not to and put the money into the stroker

you can find them on ebay every once and a while, moparts.com always has at least one in the b body parts for sale section (usually in Pennsylvania).  there is a guy in iowa who cuts truck 8 3/4's down and makes them into b-body ones, he is on ebay.

Wow really in Iowa? I'm in MN so that's just a few hours away. Thanks.

Another question. If I have the center section, what else would I need? I'm not postive on all the parts and such. What would the ballpark $$$ be? Thanks

brake hardware kits, new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, new rear brake hose, new rear axle seals, axle flange gaskets, and a new front pinion seal; all less than $100

oops, rear axle gear oil w/suregrip additive
