Our friends went on a cruise for their honey moon and they said it was 40% familys, 50% old people, and 10% young people our age. (around 30)

Hubby and I went on the Disney cruise back in 1998 (when they first started)...and damn, I wasn't fat and we were both 20.  So I don't know about the whole fat mama's with brat's we didn't see too many of them.  They have a whole section that is adult only areas, pool, clubs etc.  So being with brat's is not that big of a deal, just don't go into the kiddie areas.  It was an amazing time.  I hope you and wifey have a great time.

ps make sure you get the good stuff in the bahamas (alcohol that is).

I have been buggin Mr. Skip68 to take the family on a Carribean cruise. Never been on one before, but thought the Disney one would be good, since we have kids and no babysitters here yet.  Plus, I like the fact that I can "Dump" my kids with a chaparone in Captain Hooks play area.  :smilielol:  :2thumbs: Fun for them, ,,,,.....fun for Mommy & Daddy! Please let us know how it went.

Now the wife is following this thread...  Looks like a cruise may be in my future as well.....

I thought 4 years of ships in the US NAVY was enough....  :patriot:

Cruise was great.  I went scuba diving in the Camin Islands and Cosomel (don't think they are spelled correct). Anyway, it was Fun and my daughter cried when we had to leave.  It is really family orientated and kid friendly.  I met some fun couples from everywhere and had a blast.  I think my wife had a great time too.

I'm leaving January 1st for 4 days in Disney World then 5 nights Cruising on Royal Caribbeans "Navigator Of The Seas" sailing around Cuba to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Grand Cayman.

God I need a vacation.

I have done the Disney Cruise (Highly recommend) and taken a cruise to Alaska on the Princess Diamond, another excellent cruise experience.
Nothing like having your hotel take you where you want to go.

I used to work on a cruise ship.

The age groups really depend on which cruise line and what time of year.

And if you like your wife/girlfriend keep an eye on them.

I have a number of storys of nice young ladys whoring it out while the old man is in the casino.

Going next August, with family and friends, to the south Caribbean. Should be about 15 to 20 of us. Drinking, diving, fishing, shopping ( :brickwall:),  et.al. I figure my wife will (want to) spend about a grand on jewelry and accessories (a particular watch she has to have goes for about $700). Cruising for women means duty-free shopping, and for the men Cuban cigars and conac on the upper deck after dinner. it is a shopping paradise for the ladies so be warned.
