Long story lead me to this Challenger.  What can I do about a car that has no VIN number (parted out).  If I really wanted to build this car, could I get a state appointed VIN?  It pretty much needs everything, but it's a decent price.  What do you guys think it's worth in it's current state?  I've always wanted a Chally, and this seems like the cheapest one I can get.

Thanks guys!

Looks good body wise.... but  wow your gonna have one long parts list! as for the title.. I know it wouldn't be a problem if you had the vin but, without? maybe after you rebuild it you can have it inspected by the state as a homemade vehicle??

I wouldn't touch that myself. Although, would make a nice short track race car. :yesnod:

Your better off money wise, buying one that already runs/drives.  It reminds me of a carcus, that the Buzzards picked clean.  They should pay you to take the shell away. :Twocents:

isnt there a way it could be rebodied ?  :shruggy: find a dash with a VIN and clean title ? im sure there are legal issues with that though . but that does look clean enogh to do something with .

No I'm not going to get it. Its actually a 71 with a 70 R/T front clip. The owner, in my opinion, is asking too much.
