ID Section

Seems to be a lot of novices coming in and asking the same questions such as Rearend ID , Crank ID, etc. and maybe there is a need for a section for that type of thing ? Nobody seems to know how to use the search. Just a thought.

I think that is true of all web based forums.  I see it on the car ones and I also subscribe to number of guitar ones and it's a universal issue that no one has really solved.  Even the ones that have a setup similar to what you have suggested. 
It's a good idea and I don't want to be the wet blanket but I think people are just generally lazy and we sign on, ask our question and go.

I think it's an great idea (even if I'm the only one who uses it) and thanks for the suggestion. It's already in the works actually - a reference section is on my list of 1,000 things to do! I haven't been able to accomplish all that I want which is one of the reasons for additional moderators.
