This one turned out this way by accident, I was using an unfamiliar camera & got the shutter speed way off.
Turned out kinda cool, though. :icon_smile_big:

Taken in 1986

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

You may be right...it was sometime near Halloween, if I remember. :o

I've got a ton of good pics of both my old Charger, and some of my friends. Unfortunately, they'd all need resized for posting here. I whacked a bunch of them to clean-up my hard drive. Attached are a couple of the greatest hits.

Couple of hints I can offer when trying to take a "posed" photograph of a car.

  • Choose your back drop carefully. Nothing spoils a good shot worse than a POS chevy occupying the back ground. For this reason, car shows are generally lousy opportunities for decent photos
  • Turn the wheels. Cars look more agressive with the wheels turned.
  • Get low, or get high. A bug's eye or bird's eye view is generally more appealing than normal eye level.
  • Watch for reflections and reflections. Seeing your shadow or reflection in the phote and spoiling the perfect shot sucks.
  • Lighting... lighting... lighting. With most colors, your best bet is with the sun low in the sky (see attached).
