hello there.....i have a 440 bored 030 over with trw six pack pistons, eddy rpm manifold, lunati cam (547 lift intake 520 exhaust 250 duration intake & 240 duration exhaust) 750 double pumper ....would the rpm heads just bolt -on with this combination with no mods what kind of horsepower & torque would you estimate for this combination thx..

what heads does you're gine have now?
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I would suggest having the valve seats checked and a three angle job done on the valves.  Edelbrock heads are nice but need some massaging to get the most out of them.  The power combination should be around 400 to 425 hp with approximately 450 ftlbs of torque.  The ignition and exhaust will be the limiting factors.

Edelbrock rpm heads are great for the street and are limited to 750 hp (that is worked over and maximum flow porting).

Do some bench racing to see what you can get with a matched up cam, heads, intake and carb(s).  I read an article in HOTROD that compared intakes on a 383 build with results of hp and torque within 25.  The article did state that some of the intakes would perform better with a matched carb, head work and cam.

The RPM's will work fine on that combo...expect a 50-75hp increase over a stock iron head casting. If all is right with the engine (no mechanical issues/well tuned etc...) it should make in the 475hp range.  :Twocents:
