I received word . All new hoods start shipping early December. And for those interested 1968 - 69 Road Runner hoods will begin shipping about the same time.

And before anyone asks, as far as I know there are no plans to do a 1970 hood in either body platform. At least not at this time.

Well put me down for a couple quarter panels for my C500.  I'll be starting after Talledega 2009.   :hack:

Hey Bill, when are they going to reproduce full on Daytona's because thats what I need.

So the hoods look good? Glad to hear that someone is finally going to start treating the Mopar community with the same aftermarket that the other brands have had for years. better late than never though right?

Ok, you are a dealer for AMD.
Uh-huh.
And they are very nice about punching out ALL kinds of sheetmetal for our beloved '68-'70 Chargers.
Uh-huh.
And I see that they're in contention for the production of the Charger Dutchman panels, and likely trunklids too.
Uh-huh.
May I be so bold as to suggest this: the next time you're talking to them...see if they'll tool up for a run of these:

I don't think that they will be making any toolings for a part that will only be needed by a handful of people. Hence I think the rear window plug idea is shot.

I've seen the Vega hatch method done on more than one car, and I'll concede that it is a clever idea.
However, the contour on the bottom of the window is nowhere near close to the original, hence there is no way I'd even consider using one.
If you think it's a great idea (as many do I've seen) then mopower to you!
I think Daytona R/TSE has the right idea!

yes i would love to have his skill or be able to afford a real one.  THen you also have to make the molding and buy the expesive oem style glass.     Vega is the only way i can afford to do it, and it gets my project done faster and cheaper and it doent look bad at all
