328 - 1970-73 B + E body with 22" radiator - retail is $169 - sale price $150

mounting brackets for the 130 shroud - retail is $70 - sale priced at $60 . these can be used to mount the 130 shroud on a 1966 thru 1968 B-body in place of the metal shroud originally used.

Bill carries a wide range of parts for our cars (he specializes in detail items) so, even if you don't see what you're looking for on his site, be sure to ask. He's also a great guy to talk to and is very knowledgeable... as long as you have a GTX. (Just kidding!!! ;))

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Is this the old style plastic or the newer style stuff that Bill was talking about a couple of months ago?

It's a modern material. Not exactly the same as what was originally used. (originals requires a very expensize injection molding tool which would have made it cost prohibitive to do in the beginning)
When the shrouds first came out. they was found a material issue causing shrinkage after they were removed from the mold - thus didn't fit well, and the ones that did fit would warp - loosing the arch over the fan blade ( no good on a shroud  - imo )
These are an all new material that doesn't shrink and I've not heard of any issues as of yet with any loosing they're shape.

Yes,  to use a 130 on a 68 you have to have the 130's mounting brackets.

Orignally 1968's were a 2 piece metal shroud, ( very tough to find I might add )
I talked to a guy this afternoon to see about producing the metal shroud (among other things )  , but it sounds like more than I want to bite off

I have plenty of the shrouds but only one set of brackets on hand. and  this special is for on hand stock only. I would rather blow them out now  than to stock 3 dozen slow moving  fan shrouds for the winter.

Mounting brackets are sold out. Thanks

Are you going to get in more mounting brackets for the 68s or are you saying the 68 deal/sale is done?

I will not be getting more mounting brkts until after the 1st of the year. Once restocked they return to regular price of $70 set ... Unless I know all are sold. Then I may consider the discounted price
They are a regular stocking item, But I've sold only 3 sets all year, with 2 of these in the past 3 days.

Fan shroud prices are priced until the end of dec. or until stock is depleted  on a particular shroud #

I have more of the 130 shrouds than any other

Ghoste

Any experience with shipping them (cost wise) to Canada? (not that it matters cuz I'm gonna need one regardless)

Are these the brackets you are out of?

I think it was you that was asking about the 22'' 68 metal fan shroud?  if so I have one on my wall, its
for my QQ1 68 Charger, the car is just not finished yet and I am kind of scared to let it of my site
to tell you the truth. Its been powdercoated as well. I sure would think they would sell well, they
are almost impossible to find, and rusty originals can sell from $200.00 to $300.00.............
But possibly there's not as many people out there, that actually know there car came with one?

With all the questions about overheating though and the number of 67 and 68 Mopars out there that need one and had one, you'd think there would be a definite market for them.

Shipping on a fan shroud to Canada is about $22 or $23 dollars. Add the mounting brackets in to that bumps it to about $30 due to added weight.

gtx6970

Dan,
The mounting brackets you show a link to is for the 1968 metal shroud. these will not work to mount the 1969 plastic shroud.

To mount a 1969 plastic shroud you need the 1969 brackets  , such as
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOPAR-1969-74-B-E-Body-22-Inch-Fan-Shroud-Mounting-Kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34202QQihZ005QQitemZ150180727673QQtcZphoto

I will continue the prices for the shrouds until the 1 st of the year. or until stock for a particular #  is depleted.

Brackets are gone and will return to regular  price once restocked, UNLESS I get enough orders to warrent stock before hand

OK, Bill
I read this post as well, so I thought you were out of the 68 metal brackets.

Does the discount still work?
I wouldn't want to miss it if that's the correct part for my application (71 Bee that came with a 383 and a A833).

Hi,

#3443932.
Thanks.

Are you sure of the number ?
I can't find this number in either the white books or 70-71 parts book. Although it's in line with similar 70-71 part # applications
