front brake caliper leaking

it is leaking threw the piston and or the seals....everytime i pump the brakes it just pours out,any ideas

Did you rebuild the Caliper? If not that may take care of it. You will have to measure the caliper and piston to see what kind of wear it has? If you did - either your hone job and or seal failed. Pitting from moister and sitting a long time take toll on the 40 year old part. All in all a new one may be in order?

yeah i think from sitting for so long.i just found out a new reman caliper will cost 150 plus a 35 core cost. then found out from a friend that laysons has a 4 piston rebuilt kit for only 50.i will hopefully pick one up at the show tomorrow and save some cash..

Keep me posted on that one.  Last time I bought a pair for mine, they were like $200 plus a $200 core.  That has been 5-7 years ago.
