does anybody sell this yellow part within the steering column new??

Nacho-RT74

yes, they are available at some ebaystores and ebay dealers... it calls key in buzzer switch. I have seen them. Some are to fit with two screws, some others ( the right ones ) are with stud and screw. Both works the same since I have used both ( got damaged once )

Also some are with plastic plug at the end instead just the terminals floating around. No prob, you simply remove the plastick plug and insert terminals o ignition key switch plug.

i don't know if it is damaged - i will have to check it out - i asked a online dodge dealer if he can get one for me - he is checking into it.

is easy to check, is just a switch... do you have a tester ? check for continuity with key in between both red wires at ignition plug terminals... that's all

74 B body without tilt steering PN ( same to earliers ) is: 2947488

fredericks dodge dealer online has one for $25 plus s/h - i think i will buy it - i will ask him if he has the ignition switch also - hopefully that doesn't cost too much.

tried getting the column firewall gasket - purchased a kit prior to removing gasket from firewall - kit has wrong gasket - trying to have detriot gaskets make me a new one - this seems to happen alot wiith 74 chargers - people selling items think they have 74 charger parts and it turns out it is wrong.

74s have some differences from earliers on steering column, like 2 bolts bracket instead 3 from earliers. I know firewall plate is somehow diff  but dunno if that includes the gasket
