What kind of material was used to smooth the drip rail channels on the roof.  The stuff I pry'd out looked like a hard bathroom caulking.  What is supposed to be used? :icon_smile_question:

3M's Drip Check is what the factory used. Its what I use on all my restorations. Tape off both sides of the rail and squeeze it in a uniform bead all the way down the rail. Don't worry about smoothig it out with your finger it will flow out on its own. Take out all the old stuff first and do it before you paint the car. Put it over primer or sealer.
