Drip Rail Moldings

Whats the best way to install the drip rail moldings on a 69 with a vinyl top?  I was thinking a bit of dish detergent to make things slippery.  Then the detergent should just wash out where grease would not.  Any tips?

A rubber mallet , they kind of roll on . One thing I keep in mind when working on any old car is , some fat out of shape women installed any part on these cars in 2 seconds on the Assy line !!!!!!!!
