Don't know if any of you have any expertise on old Mustangs, but what is your opinion on this car?

All the Ford guys I know prefer the fastback so IMO that's not a real desirable car. I think his price is a bit high and based on his attitude about it he knows that and doesn't really care.

The body looks pretty clean from the pics, but make sure you look around to see.
The '65-'68 cars have a cowl rot problem where the floor vent tubes meet the cowl, my '68 had it bad. Lift the front carpet & look at the floors.
Look at the inner fenders, where the shock towers meet for signs of cracks. 6-bangers are usually pretty good in this area.

Like others have said, the price is a little high. I'd go wave $4,500 or 4,800 in his face & see if he bites. :)

The best thing about these cars is the cheap & plentiful availability of replacement parts.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I agree that the price is high.  You can PM member GeneralleeTesh he knows about Mustangs.  I have been watching the Mustang market and the only cars that are high up there are the fastbacks and 69-70 mach 1's
