well it really started a while ago. I would say end of may when my grandpa passed away. Same day my mother gets a letter saying they found cancer tumor in her. Fast forward to this month I find out my daddy's coming. After 10 years he decides to show up. Somehow he got ticket here and back I suppose. Some guy that he knows lives in Alaska and he stayed there for a month. Now I find out one of my uncles has him staying at his house. Of course my mother doesn't want him anywhere around here. She never forgot how he treated her. I do not like him either, wasn't good father to say the least. So I have to deal with this bs on a daily basis for now besides working full-time and O/T to be able to pay bills/mortgage, Im not even talking about buying new parts for Charger now. This is going to be like that for a while since mom only able to work a little bit as she feels real bad after chemotherapy. Just thought I'd get this off of my chest.
I hope that I can save enough money where I can get a CDL next spring so I can get into trucking and hopefully earn bit more money to be able to pay for life.

Sorry to hear that. Only time heals things like this. Hope your mother gets well and you can somewhat deal with your father if you have to. Good luck on trying to change your career too. If you were a truck driver you could scout some car deals too. I know a truck driver and he always finds cars.

Hope things get better on the homefront for you. Theres good money to be made with a class A and you don't have to be out 10 days at a time either. You may have to take some less desirable jobs in the beginning to get some ass time but its definitely a good license to have. Make sure you get your tank and hazmat when you go in for your test.

Silver, my mom is also fighting cancer (she's bascially through it now, after 4 years) and the one thing i can tell you..is make sure she stays busy! and don't ever let her lose hope! My mom was constantly on her feet doing something, anything, little things around the house, visiting friends and family. Me and my brothers helped her out as much as possible and just gave her someone to talk to, and things to look forwards too the next day. All this while dealing with an alcoholic ex (my dad) who wouldn't leave her be....

Hang in there man, i will be praying
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Hang tough man, better days are just around the corner.

Well that sucks. Seems like when it rains it pours. All I can say is try to look at and focus on the positives through all this because there will be some. Somehow these things tend to make families stronger.

Hang in there Man, I hope things work out for the better soon.

I'll also say that it's in good character of you to stick by your Mom through this & help shoulder the financial burdon. There are definitely people out there of lesser integrity that would split town if this happened...looking out for only themselves. Doing something like this will help shape you as a Man & make you a better person in the long run.

Good for you.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
