I am an official "newbie" / "greenhorn" to this.  I just found (and waiting to be shipped) my first mopar.  Remember McQueen in Bullitt?  No's matching triple black, I can't even sleep at night until it gets here.  I am already looking to the detail stuff.......wheel well trim and drip edge molding along the vinyl top.  What is going to fit the best?  I've heard to be careful about the repo's.......don't fit well or are too thin.  I've heard about Dantes, Year One, and of course I'm looking on Ebay.  If I could get new replacements that is great.......just want a perfect fit.

The reproduction moulding is thinner but looks identical when installed. My personal preference is to have the original stuff but it's not easy to find in real good condition. The place to find the original stuff is all the usual suspects: Ebay, swap meets, craigslist, etc.

The repop drip edge molding along the vinyl top I have tried to use, have not gone on well.
It seems to tweak/try and turn while trying to install it, my body shop found this out first, they
tried and tried, I even bought a second set, still had problems, buffed my original set up real
nice, they went back on perfect. That was my experience   :Twocents:
