Are there any good companies out there that y' all may know of that sells these? Any info on prices as well?

Thank you!
Aaron

You'd have to send yours out to a chrome shop.

There's powdercoat shops that can make something look pretty close to chrome for much less time and money.  I had a spare pair powdercoated wet black for about $50 IIRC.
Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.

As a powdercoater , not even close !!!! Paint them black and put the money towards a Hemi !!!!

terrible one

I usually see sets of B-body hinges that have been re-done. . . chromed with black powdercoated springs for around $60-70 if I remember correctly. . . from a certain seller. I have no idea who it is, but you could keep your eyes out.

Thank you for the responses fellas! Do you guys know if there are "Universal" chrome hood hinges that would fit a 69' Charger by chance?

Thanks again for any replies,
Aaron

Where hood hinges are concerned, I don't think there are "universal" fits in any finish.  If there are, I would be very leery about putting them on my own car.

HITMAN 149

ebay always has someone selling hinges... also i frequently see one guy selling "eastwood chrome" hinges???

My thoughts: It is a dumb later General Lee pre-requisite. Otherwise, enjoy painted hinges like 99.99% of the Charger community.

Thanks guys for the responses. I just happened to be watching the Dukes 2nd re-union movie ("Dukes in Hollywood"). And, I took notice of the chrome hood hinges that was on the General while Bo n' Luke were working on the transmission. It was just something that I was curious about since it looked descent. But I agree, the originals didn't have them anyway, so it's not a big deal with me...I was just curious to see what I could find.

Thanks again for the responses!
High regards,
Aaron

Aren't the hinges normally the body color?  mine were painted the color of the fenders, but lately i've been considering painting them black since the engine bay is going to be mostly y3 yellow and black anyway, figure i should color some items black.  I already repainted mine the body color but i'm thinking black would look better.

The "closeup" GLs did have chromed hinges during the old TV series.  Not during seasons #1-3, but they finally got some designated permanent "hero" cars together during the later several seasons.

The top plate of the front grille frame was also chromed too.  (Ouch.  Gotta detach the top piece from the rest of the grille frame just to get it plated.  And even then, don't we all drop tools onto that grille plate whenever we wrench on the car?)

The car you saw during the Reunion special with the chromed hinges was John Schnieder's personal Hemi GL.
(The infamous "$10-milllion-dollar" General Lee.)
