I got to go for a ride in one of the new 2008/2009 Challenger R/T's yesterday. It was a 5.7L HEMI with a 6 speed. It was all covered up with the bras & camo of course. Its a S-0 (still prototype but most of all of the production clues were there). Can't share any pics. Alls I can say is it halls a$$ & looks even better than the concept car. For all of you wondering it does not have the shortened nose, actually a 70 style grile (no cross hairs Dodge Ram grill like everything else). 70 tail lights with center reverse light & typical E-body dash cluster. It was awesome & I am now convinced I will somehow figure a way to buy one when it hits the streets.

When I worked at Masco-Tech in Detroit where they made these Concept prototype cars I usually had the inside scoop on this stuff. Bumming I'm not there any more as now I dont know whats going on? The place I worked at also served as a Wharehouse for lots of there oddball protype cars laying around, Anybody remember the Barracuda Prototype concept painted Curious Yellow & known as the Venom? That was always laying around along with the Pontiac Banshee (very cool car) & many others. LEON.

Hype, hype and more hype. I still have not seen one at a dealership.  If Dodge does not hurry their butts, the Camaro will be here.  But so is 4.00 a gallon for gas...Perfect timing  :brickwall:
