Does anybody have a good recommendation for where to get a carburetor from preferably an edelbrock?

aifilaw

my recommendation is not to get the edelbrock.

ebay probably, or the for sale section.

I have an old 750 DP'er edelbrock, but it needs to be rebuilt after this much time of sitting on a bench I'd sell.

Why do you say no to the edelbrock?

aifilaw

because after dealing with several edelbrocks and holley's, both using and tuning... I greatly prefer the holley for many reasons... capabilities, and the capability to truly be tuned perfectly for the engine are the main reasons, and you will find most other good carb tuners agree.

if you want something to bolt-on and run semi-decent, then get an edelbrick

For a cruiser, i would go with a 3310 750vs or a 750vs QF carb, they are really nice & come with screw in bleeds & choke, if i'm not mistaken, they are less then 400.00 through "riverset motorsports" out of Georgia, Jim's a QF distributor & a buddy of mine, give him a call, tell him i sent you :2thumbs: 706-895-3300
