These kinds of threads always seem to end up with five pages of jabbering with nothing to show for it.

If I was buying a car like that, I sure wouldn't be talking about it before it was in my garage.

I was stating that earlier in the thread. I was saying this is a public forum and you can shoot a pic of some secluded area and people know where it is.

Hey Mr. Peabody, lets take the way back machine to ....

Maybe Allen has an update. He did mention that they were related, on the mothers side I think it was.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Although I agree with everything that you said... I think this one will end differently.  But, I have been fooled before.................. :RantExplode:

The facts that I know:

1) There was a virtually identical 1969 Hemi Charger R/T in the small town BZ is apparently from.
2) When I looked at the car in the 1980s it DID NOT have a wing, or any sign of one ever being there from what I recall.
3) If it is a hoax, it is elaborate... including planting information on various websites.
4) Overall description matches my memory, when/if the car appears I expect then VIN will as well.
5) IF it is a hoax, I am not involved except by being most gullible...

Maybe if it doesn't appear by this weekend... ROAD TRIP!  :D

Its been it the low 90s with fairly low humidity... not too bad.

It is supposed to cool off this weekend... upper 70s to low 80s by Sunday I believe.

I was there in July and decided to go to the Texas Motor Speedway.  It wasn't too far from the hotel, so I decided to walk.  It was 110 degrees outside.  That 2 miles I walked, I swear I sweated out a gallon of water.  I'll drive next time
