Well I went to check out the site today and I found this:

We are excited and pleased to announce the sale of Carsinbarns to Retrobuilt.com, Americas Premier Muscle Car Restoration Company.  Retrobuilt.com is owned by Clinton White who has been a friend of mine since we were 16 years old.  We met and became friends racing and cruising the streets of Branson, MO.  I am convinced he will be a fantastic caretaker for the website and will be able to do it justice.

What do you guys think? The company that bought the site pays people for finding the company project cars. I have a feeling people who send in pictures will get asked where the car is so they can maybe buy it but I could be wrong....also, I tried to email some ideas for the site....the email didnt work.

Also those guys are basically just using Cars in Barns to get cars.  They are really musclecarfinds.com it appears.  So you send them pictures, they will probably have a stipulation that they need the location of the car to post it.  Then they will go get it.

I have a feeling that Ive seen this car on carsinbarns....Im not completley sure but it looks firmiliar

And Ive noticed, about 3/4 of the cars they buy, they flip only weeks/months later


I have a feeling also, the people who send in pictures of wing cars, Hemi cars, six pack cars, TAs, AARs and RT cars will get bugged the most for locations....

That's what they do, you find the car, they pay you $1000 for finding it, buy it for $5000 and flip it for $50,000 a week later.  It is a easy way to make money.  Now all Cars in Barns will be is a gateway to these cars for musclecarfinders to get them.

Its sorta sad how a site ran by one guy in his spare time turned into a way to make tons of money by some big company . I doubt they even know about my site
