Rear seat question

How tight is the rear benchseat suppose to sit when it is installed? the hooks that is suppose to hold the two parts down isn't that great on my car.
In fact, it's real sloppy!

Every one of those seats I've put in and taken out were a real bitch. No slop whatsoever. Something doesn't sound right with yours.

here's pics of the three hooks that hold my seat on the right side, i don't really see how they can hold my seat into place tightly 
Pehaps i should bend them somehow?
