Right now on my 383 I have the Milidon S/S 7qt pan which hangs down too low since I lowered the car for Solo II.  The block has been drilled and tapped for 1/2 p/u..  Do you think I could get away with a stock style pan a adapted 3/8 p/u tube and use a Moroso 3qt accumulator?

I am not sure what car you are running but the best set-up for a lot of B&E body chassis's is the Hemi oil pan and 1/2 pick-up tube being reproduced it is 6qts plus around a 1 qt with filter, it doesn't hang as low as the aftermarket oil pans because the sump area is longer and fits into the cut-out of the k-member where-as the aftermarket pans are shorter in length and deeper to get oil capacity up, it covers way more applications so it is easier to sell.

Milodon has a circle track road race pan.  Look for 31580 w/ p/u 18338.  I'm too cheap to spend $385 for a pan so I am fabbing one up as we speak.

I had a Moroso on mine for a few years.....I raised the torsion bars, but still hit under "certain" conditions.....I got fed up with pulling the pan and welding it back up....I went back to the factory pan. :2thumbs:
