I found this ad:

"MOPAR DANA 44 POSI 3.31:1 RATIO 58" OVERALL ..38" PERCH CENTER TO PERCH CENTER...50 3/4" BACKING PLATE TO BACK PLATE...COMPLETE REAR END DRUM TO DRUM"

I know Danas were not available in 73, but is this the right size for a 3rd gen?  Will it bolt in & work?  Thanks.

aifilaw

you want a dana 60....
a dana 44 is a jeep.chrysler rear end....

(begin guessing)
late model I think, doubt it will fit without modifications and non-stock rear axles
