Mt daughters 2002 saturn

My daughter owns a 2002 staurn L-100, yesterday she got in to start it and all that it would do is turn over.  She checked and replaced the ignition fuse, and it still wouldn't start. After she had it towed home however it did decide to, we checked all the wires and grounds. Couldn't find the problem. Does anybody know what might be haunting it?

Fuel pump?  I had a 01 Saturn in this week that did the same type of thing.  You should hear the pump run for 2 sec. on Key on.  Beat on the tank if it doesn't and see if it will go.  Could be a bunch of things, but that is easy to look at.

     Had the same problem on my 98, turned out to be the crank sensor.

YUP!  My Honda did that a while back.  Ended up being the fuel pump. Funny thing was I could hear the pump cycle.

My 98' Saturn did that last winter. Ended up being the valve cover gasket, leaking oil onto the  plugs. Could not tell the gasket was even leaking (on the inside). :shruggy:

I love troubleshooting. sort of.

I had this problem with my Civic & couldnt find out what it was for 4 months.  Turns out that it was a bad fuse that was connected to the fuel pump relay (AKA "MAIN RELAY")
I was a happy camper after the fix :)

As with any no start diagnosis on a FI injected vehicle - check spark, fuel pressure and injector pulse to start. That will at least point out the sub-system failure. I had a No Start Saturn at work last week..... I checked spark, fuel pressure, injector pulse, and compression. All were good. At that point, I took a fuel sample and realized that the customer had filled up the tank with Diesel.   :o
