I want a Charger! but i dont have no place near me to put it. but my friend said i could put it in his barn on the iowa/minnesota border if i do get it. which isnt too far from me [mankato] one day though... one day..

and gl with yours bro... do keep us updated

Harlow

Good see your working on it. I would just try to do all the necessary metal work, prime it(or a cheap $500 maaco job), put the interior back in and enjoy it. Then save your money and wait to really restore it once your older. :Twocents:

Cody - You're turning out to be a fine young Jedi  :icon_smile_big: - Good work bro!!  Thanks for the pictures  :2thumbs:

Skins will fix those quarters no problem  :2thumbs:.  Just make sure ya rebuild the door hinges and line the doors up BEFORE chopping off the old skins and fitting the new ones.  It makes fitting the new skins much easy and they won't be out of whack when you do final reassembly.

Cody, looking good there.  Just remember that while it is apart, you can't drive it.  That was one thing I personaly hated about tearing into hubby's car...it sat for almost 2-3 years because we tore it all apart before we had parts or money to finish it..now it is put back together but still have a few things left to get and it sits in the driveway or garage looking all mad for not being driven for 5 years!

The thing is with my 69...I cant drive it until it gets fixed. Basically, I have to do this stuff or else I cant drive it :icon_smile_big:

Dude get it mechanically sound and paint it all the same color primer and drive the hell out of it! You don't need to do paint and body to be able to drive it!  :coolgleamA:

that's what I am doing with my 71.  I am going to have hubby get the thing up and running and paint it flat black primer and beat into it until I can make up my mind and get a kick ass paint job.
