Even though your car is a 70, it is blue and white like mine so you can be forgiven. :icon_smile_big:

Thanks Man, I feel special. :-* ;D

Yep Khyron, you're a hillbilly. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm a prick I guess. Sorry I guess it was above my Junior member status to say what this board is about. I just dont think anyone here has a love for those cars.... and that I certainly could not help him in anyway. NEXT Time I will just shutup.... I do have better things to do than be a smart a$$

MY opinion for the record is that no NEW charger should have that NAME PERIOD. I heard a radio ad about the rebirth of the muscle car being a new charger... BS.

I WILL NEVER DRIVE one, sit in one, or otherwise think of one as a muscle car until they (DC) make something that resembles a muscle car. ..... AND NO THEY(muscle cars) do not have 4 doors. PERIOD..... I think those are called SLEEPERS..... an undesirable car bought by someone that could not have the real thing and added some performance mods to grandmas car..... ::) :rotz:

THERE THAT IS MY OPINION....

To all the Haters........In the immortal words of William Shakespeare,"Me thinks Thou doth Protest to Much"  I Think this site has a bunch of "closet" 06' fans. :yesnod:

Me, well, I have much too much going on in my life to donate so much "hate and discontent" to a car. Would I buy one....probably not. I like the 300 or the RumbleBee/ SRT V10 Truck better. But I would not be ashamed of owning one.

ClassicCharger(dot)com...................................what I said all along. ::)

Exactly.  As it is, we're practically inviting '06 Charger owners here.  You can't blame them for coming here, OR for wanting to seek out modifications to that car.

Still, I started laughing at the original post because I KNEW where this was going.  And it did.

Why shouldn't we invite them. Maybe we [as owners of "Classics"] can teach or interest them in the Hobby/Lifestyle we all know and Love. I Thought this site was open to all, especially Mopar guys/girls, or is this just a home for elitists snobs who look down their noses on people not lucky enough to own a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Gen Charger. I'm not pointing a finger, I'm just putting this out there for discussion. There's been a lot of bashing of the 06' on this site. Are we now going to bash & belittle people who own them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a lot of people on this site who own/drive other classics......Mustangs, Trans Am's, Buick GN's, Camaros, etc.  Yet thats ok, but someone who buys an 06' is not welcomed?? Thats not Right. :rotz:

Lucky?? If I had $35,000 to spend, I'd buy a few old Chargers instead of one new four door wannabe.

Me too, but by any chance, I've been reading all the posts for this topic and...it's so sad to see people so attacked simply because they don't have the car you think to be cool, eternal, real, pure, etc..... :(. you don't like that car....well, why treat the owner like that??...poor guy..what about a nice "we don't know as we're keen on old classic DC..."as a replay to his request?  Passion doesn't mean intolerance, I think.
It's been very sad that's it   :icon_smile_angry:....... maybe someone thinks I shouldn't be here as I don't  own a charger  ???......... :-\
Really hope it's not so...it'd be terrible

I was speaking with my past receptionist the other day.   I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS.   MOST people do not know anything about the OLD charger only the new ones.   Also, same for the GTO.   I was speaking with her son and he does not know the old GTO and charger and thinks the new ones are pretty cool.

I guess its a matter of what you know and have seen.   Are 30+ years of advancement in car building better yes.   So people only know what they see now.

So..... I will lessen my stance and these youngsters ahhhh hemmmmm.... for the most part do not know about the original CHARGER.....as us old guys do.     Not that you have to be young to own a new charger.....ahhhhh   hemmmmm

That gives him just enough time to have read the post with the baby seat.  But not the rest.

You'll never drive, sit or think of one as a musclecar?  Then it's your own, narrow minded loss.  How can you logicaly decry the new Charger without having sampled it?  Musclecars are known for being such because they perform well above your tyipical autobmobile.  I don't like Chrysler's decision to reskin the 300 and then call it a Charger, but after having test driven and fully experienced a new Daytona Charger at a car show, that the dealer rep.'s allowed my '69 to park by for kicks during the whole show, I have to say that I am impressed.  Ride quality, build finish, acceleration, braking, interior space, whatever aspect of a performance car you can think of this new Charger does what our Chargers do but on a much more highly advanced level.
Once again, musclecars are called such because in plain terms they haul and kick ass-this "Charger" does that and more;  probably more than most of our so called  "real" Chargers do on this forum-look at the numbers, numbers don't lie...
I love my '69 more than life itself.  Nothing on this planet could replace it, not even another classic Charger, but I will give credit where it's due, and the new Charger certainly earns my respect.
And let's face it, despite all of the mahco-hater talk from everyone here if you opened your mind and actually tried one out most of you know you would want one too......... if you don't want one already...

Troy, how about a new section for "New Charger Discussion" ?t will be an ugly area but all these posts can go there and not have to be repeated.
1968 Silver Charger RT
1969 Yellow Charger 440
1969 Charger General Lee Replica (rescued W.VA car)
1970 Charger RT Daytona Replica
Previous Chargers Owned 66, 68(2), 69(2), 70(3)

SeattleCharger

You sold out your '69 to a newCharger dealer to promote the new Charger at a show?      Agh!, say it aint so.

Haul azz and kick but with this: maybe Ford should have just slapped a Mustang emblem on a fast Pinto, same thing.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
