ok so i sold my ^9 Road Runner High School car  , had lots of bills to pay so it had to go . I have had it up for sale for a while and got a lower offer then i really  wanted to take but i really need the cash.  I couunter offered that i would take the offer if i could keep the dana 60 out of the car . He accepted that offer and so I swapped the 8 3/4 out of the birdible into the 69 runner and put the runners dana in the birdible .

took some fine steel wool to the dana chrome cover and it shined right up

    had to transfer the rear sway bar over to the dana

    hemi / convertible torq boxes tight to get the leaf mounts unbolted from

So you swapped springs and all not just the housings?

Does the Dana have the same rear gears as the 5.75?

basically same gear  the dana is a 3:54 the 8 3/4 is 3:55

I've had that conversation, in the B5 bird, with a guy in a Diablo.  We were stopped at a light, and I looked over and said, "well, you don't see one of THOSE very often."  He kinda nodded and said, "yeah, I was thinking the same thing."  Funny stuff.

they look ok but in 14 inch not so much 

   give me ralleys anytime  on a 70 for sure

the 17 year old rear brakes inside  the dana from the 69 are pretty worn out .

 I already had to put the Left rear wheel cylinder on . So yesterday I ordered new 11 inch rear shoes , hardward kit , , right wheel cylinder and new shocks from rock auto .

 Saw these while doings so and they fit the OM front calipers   so i ordered a set of these rotors and new front pads also .
So she will have new brakes all the  way around .  Plus the new master cylinder and booster already done before the power tour .
 
     If you drive em you gotta keep em up .
