Whelp, it rained a lot last night (about a half inch), so a lot of the snow is gone in my part of the state. I guess the western part got buried in snow though. But now it is 22 degrees F. out, and we got 40 to 50 mph winds to blow around the light snow that is coming down :eek2:

We did get a lot of snow last night over is SW Wisconsin but thankfully no rain to weigh it down like the first storm. I spent the morning plowing out and the wind is causing some bad drifting on the roads.

I am in Texas now so bad weather like the stuff you guys are going through it very rare. I grew up in PA and saw my share of snow. Did anyone here live in western PA in the late 70s? The first picture is a picnic table in my backyard in Altoona around 77-78 ish. This was accumulated in one night.

Man - they we're telling us about that weather here in the Toronto area on the news tonight.  They also mentioned a town in Saskatchewan that was - 56 C.  It's supposed to get colded tonight, hopefully not that cold.

Hang in there.

-Toronto-.
.....Yeeeup.

I go down to Toronto twice a year on average. I was there in September, it was nicer there than it was all summer here in Alberta. Went down on Yonge Street and watched them film the new "Hulk" movie. That was cool.
Right down from the now defunct "Sam the record man" they had a facade built over some buildings to look like Harlem.
This is the replica (clone?) Apollo theater that you'll see in that movie.

So Magnumcharger, I guess starters last forever since you start the vehicle in the fall and let it run all winter eh?  On the bright side, when it gets up to -20C you guys will be in tee-shirts!

Not quite, but when I go to the local Walmart, there are more cars left running in the parking lot, than not.
I just plug my shitbox into the nearest 110v outlet wherever I go.
I'll tell ya, it was so cold today in the building I work in, that with two radiant heaters, and a whole slew of space heaters all around the shop, it still couldn't warm the place up.
And, every time one of the smokers went out for a puff (in a gaggle, of course) they'd let what out miniscule heat we'd managed to corral.
I won't go outside to work on my "junk" until at least April, when it gets above the freezing point. Meanwhile, it's me, my treadmill, my SAD lamp, and Dodgecharger.com!
