I just bought an 8 3/4" for my Charger.  It is the '73 8 3/4" because of the perch difference (larger hold for isolator bushings).I've got a 489 center section with a 3.91 Sure Grip that I'm going to be putting in here pretty shortly.  Where can I buy a decent set of axles that won't break the bank?  Does anyone know how long these axles are supposed to be?

Thanks
Paul

Paul,

Try Dr Diff.....he's a drivetrain Wizard and can get you anything. His pricing is excellent as well !  :2thumbs:

I did the same thing to my 74' Charger.  I bought a 72' RR housing with no axles in it.  For the fact it bolted right up.  I had know idea what axles to buy.  The people over at Moser helped me out.  But John is correct.  30 5/8" is the correct length.  I bought mine from Moser 30 spline for $315. I also bought the green bearings from Moser.

  Good luck!

I think Moser and Strange Engineering are both pretty popular.
