Currently stripping my 68 and most of the primer is a lighter shade of grey. Oddly, there is some green primer in the engine compartment on the firewall. I am sure this was done at the factory as I have owned the car since 1971 ( 18,000 miles)  and am absolutely sure it has never been altered. Another Mopar Mystery.
