I have been searching for months for a couple pieces of pot metal trim for the 73,  Well one of the many great members on here bought a piece on ebay for me had it shipped to my house the pieces looked great.  This morning I was taking some steel wool to it prior to the installation, and the damn thing broke of in my hand.  I will try to JB weld it later.  I am to pissed to mess with it now. :brickwall:

Just wait till you have to have a pot metal piece re chromed.   I done a 65 Buick Riviera last year and needed the bumpers re chromed. The front bumper guards were fifty bucks each , since they were steel. The rears were pot metal and costs were 125 bucks  EACH.  To have that piece you broke , fixed and re chromed would prolly be outrageous.........

You oughta try it with a piece thats 80-90 years old.  I have had whole carbuerators fall apart in my hand.  You tend to learn new things with it.  Like patience and how to cuss like a sailor.
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.
