Heres the readings I got.

Hydrocarbon(ppm): I got 1079 the standard is 450
Carbon Monoxide(%): I got 5.87 the standard is 5.00

The guy said that the readings indicate a misfire...which I don't believe. It was idling beautifully. I did overheat on my first attempt to get checked (coolant came spraying out the overflow tube..its 102 today and sitting in line not moving KILLED me), on my second attempt I made it through, but the heat was redlining(I don't have exact temp numbers. I just have the dummy gauge on the dash). I don't know if that would have a significant effect. So the first thing on my list is to get some header wraps and wrap up the headers to try and cool it down (I just did a full radiator flush yesterday). I think I will turn the timing up a little and back off on the idle mix screws to try and get it to pass the idle test (thats all I have to pass in AZ). Let me know if you think it will work.

Looks like it is running very rich.

Seems to be idling very rich.  Thats why the HC (unburned fuel) is high. And with there being too much fuel in relation to the air, there isn't enough oxygen to form carbon dioxide so you end up with too much carbon monoxide.

Try turning the idle mixture screws in.
