I agree it's too nice to be altering it into something else....but then again I don't own it.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

Got it running last night, but too late to put it on the road. I might take it out and beat on it a bit this evening, but probably not 'til tomorrow.

Dang thing only has 750 miles on the clock. Definitely needs some more shake down miles prior to heading for Columbus.

Head swap went great. Stroker crank and rods next.

I don't read a question in there, but I presume you're interested in some history.

What I have at this point is secondhand knowledge. All I know is the car was restored circa 1999. The North Carolina owner bought it at Carlilse in ~2005 (there is no date of sale on the title). Supposedly drove it home from there.

It was previously titled in Troy, Michigan.

I have the names and addresses of these two owners and I will contact them at some point.

It only has 750 miles on the odometer. I presume it was zero'd out at the time of the restoration. It obviously has seen very little road time, which would explain why you haven't seen it.

Changed the oil in it tonight. Looked clean, but there was some metal in the filter, likely from the fuel pump pushrod. Tomorrow I'm finally going to get it out and put some miles on it.

Saturday I drove it a little bit. Felt sluggish as hell compared to the Charger.

Replaced leaky the gasket on the Dana cover. Checked the front suspension bolts and gave it a grease job.

Drove it a bit more on Sunday, then gave it a coat of wax.

Tonight I diagnosed a bad wiper motor. Dead park circuit.

I also looked a little closer at the carb. It's an Edelbrock Performer, p/n 1406. That's a 600 cfm. Guess now I know why it feels so sluggish.

There's a lot of parts you need off that Charger.  I suppose if they've already picked it up, you're going to be bringing a lot of money to Ohio?  :icon_smile_big:

Great Plate Mike  :2thumbs:  - How much angrier?  :scratchchin:  Can you give us a hint?  :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:  We already know about the engine build (pretty angry). My guess is that a large wing and a slanty nose could give it another large dose of Angry???   :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA:

Also, "angrier" is a great TV story line and a great sequal if your running with Spike TV again this year.  :scope:  How much can you say??  - -  about that?
