Did anyone see the wrecked F6 Daytona in the swap meet for 140K? Holy Crap!

Anyway, it was nice to see some familiar faces like Chris (Giardina), and Keith (triple black '69 R/T), and to meet new ones like Troy, Chris G., Hemi Doug, John, the Colonel, and Bryan. I promised Troy I would get more active on this website!

Great pics you guys, thanks for sharing all those!!

I have GOT to get my butt to Carlisle one of these days! :drool5:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Crazy Larry

can you guys fill me in on the history of the Aussie Daytona? Just wondering if it was a Daytona that was customized for Australia (opposite drive) or was it originally built by Dodge for Aussie land?

TruckDriver

Nice pics. I'm still waiting to see a decent picture of Shelby's Daytona now that it is done :shruggy:

Unfortunely Carlisle is one show I'll never get to see in person as it is to far away from me :'(

Larry, any left hand drive car must be converted to RH drive before it can driven in Australia. The current owner John (OneBadSuperbird) decided to keep it as is since the conversion job looked so good.

I'd like to know the history behind it. I heard several people say that's the Daytona that got swept out of the bodyshop during a flood and ended up on it's roof down the road. Ron (Firefighter) said he thought that car got rolled in the early 70's.
Anyway, I'd like to know the rest of the story :shruggy:
I'm sure Nascarxx29 knows the entire history.

As soon as one of my friends e-mails me pics. I'll post em.  Shelby and I were busy with the winners parade and awards.  Shelby got 2nd in her class. I told her no one would look at it close. :nana:   I got 3rd in 71 Challenger stock.  My Brother got 3rd with his Dakota . And Chris with the Burnt Orange 70 Charger got 1st place. :2thumbs:

THE COLONEL

It was great to finally put some faces with the names.  I'll get my pics on here tomorrow sometime.  I think we took pics of alot of the same cars.  That just goes to show what kind of taste we all have!  Those are good pics of The Colonel by the way.  Thanks for posting them!
