Hey guys,

I thought I would resurrect an older thread to show off my Charger model.  I know not everyone is a fan of the General, but I wanted to show if off:

This is a model of the the original hero car when filming first began.  It was an R/T SE car with A/C.  I've added A/C plumbing, vents in the dash, the console and the pedals are for an automatic tranny.   The tranny is the 727 and I put in an 8-3/4 rearend.

Thanks for looking,

Chris

I've been drooling over that model on the CGFLC website for the last couple of days. Beautiful :2thumbs:

Anyone from my area(Albany/Saratoga NY) will recognize this sad looking '68; the model is about 95% done this week, but I had to share it anyway:

Here is my collection, lots of DOH stuff.  I see I'm not the only one with the blue "Stinger" Charger.  The last pic shows my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T promo car.  I bought it off Ebay a few years back.  I've also got two tootsie toy Chargers one black the other a orange/yellow/blue combo paint scheme, but their somewhere in the attic.  The 1/64 cars wrapped up in red are my original DOH cars.  I've got alot of other Chargers in those boxes buried at the bottom.

Oh by the way, I'd glady trade in all of my models in the pics for a REAL 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with a 440...(restored of course).  Anyone....? ;)

Back N Black

I got a few models that are packed in boxes, time to dig them out. Here is a 1/18 scale garage i started over the holidays. Its a work in progress, still need to put siding on the outside and more detail on the inside.

rp23g7

WOW, you guys are incredible with the detail.  Gotta love some of those.  I used to have a bunch of models, havent built any in yrs.  I may start again.

What is a good site explaing how to do the rust and dents, dont really know the best way to do that.

I love the under hood wiring and coolant hoses.  friggen awsome

MoparManJim

You know, I don't think diecast should be class as a model, because mostly models are plastic and are hand built  :icon_smile_wink: . Diecast should be class as a collector item sense they are already built mostly and painted.

I have nothing agenst diecast items at all just so that you all know. I like what I see in this thread  :2thumbs:
