I've been busy deer hunting and working on our kitchen remodel.  But i'll get back to working on Chargers after Christmas.  I've decided to sell my 68.  Cant afford to drive it anymore and i need the money for bills and hopefully some left over for my C500.     I also have street rod fever right now and i'm gonna take a break from the Charger(s) and maybe work on my Grandpa's 1937 Dodge truck.  So i'll drive the C500 around Joe Dirt style till after Talledega 2009 and then maybe get going on it full blown restoration style.  Hopefully the price of full quarters has come down by then.

it a shame that you are getting rid of the 68 but you got to do what you got to do   there nothing wrong with driving the 500 around joe dirty style

The engines are getting swapped between cars in two weeks and then the 68 is on the chopping block.  I will have a 440, 5-speed, dana rear in the C500 and then its time for

the 68.  I'm selling it as a finished charger without a 440 for someone that wants to build their own engine but doesnt want to do body work.  I'll include the 727 and v-8 k-frame, so the /6 is just so they can drive it on a trailer, drive it home, or drive it till they get their engine built.  Or maybe someone will like a 22 mpg Charger that is all show and no go..

Almost, i have the clutch ready to go, if it would quit raining in Ohio, i would have the tranny here already        

I'm having a Charger assembly party on Saturday Jan 26th.  That day some of the local board members (and a Chebby guy, and two ford guys) that i know are comming over for a Saturday afternoon of K-frame swapping.

How cool is this!  I am a few months away from getting any work done on TC, but i was fortunate enough to score some TTI headers on craigslist yesterday for $500!  Ceramic coated and only about 12 hours of run time on them.  The guy has a 68 Charger R/T and was going back to stock.

He'll get tired of taking them on and off all the time when he keep repainting his engine. . .

The hillside is comming out.  I've had enough of it and the novelty has worn off.  I need that dual exhaust v-8 sound that i've missed for so long.
