what is the best way to remove the rear window trim on a 73 charger with out breaking the clips so they can still be reused?

They sell a window trim tool that you can use to pop them out.  I saw one at Autozone. Snap on also sells them.  You need alot of care, though.  I usually end up breaking them or bending them
