I was supposed to start today, but the windshield guy needs to wait for the gasket. He'll be doing my windshield tomorrow morning. I'm planning on just having the guy leave the vinyl out rather than tuck it back in under the trim. Do you guys see any issues with doing that? Heres a quick picture so you know what your working with.

the only prob would be if there is ANY rust around the opening as that should be taken care of before the w/s goes back in. also the clips for the trim usually holds the vinyl to down too so youll probobly have to r& i them when hes got it out.

Think I should hold off on the new windshield until I finish up with the body work? From now until I finish the body work it will most likely not be driven. After the guy stopped by and looked at it I started to think that maybe I should hold off...

If youre not going to drive it, the front glass should be further down on the list of things to do I would think...

I know some places might be tougher on the laws but ive been driving my 79 blazer with 3 huge cracks across the windshield for 5 years now and no one has bothered me about it.
