I purchased a new 750 Holley Vacuum Secondary Carb and I was going to take off the bowls and check the float positions in both bowls.
How do I know how far up or down to adjust the floats so I can be in the 'ballpark" when I fire up the engine???

Use a 3/8 in drill bit as a spacer between the float and bowl & adjust (if necessary).....that should be close.  :2thumbs:

I always set them a bit on the low side from the factory setting  before filling the carb as it is much easier to adjust the carb by raising the float level
