Anyone know where to get such a device that can lift the engine from underneath for repairs such as: changing the k-member.
I have seen one at my mechanic. Looks like a very simple set of bars.

Make it youself , 2 inch 1/8 wall square tube , chain , and place on pad on inner wells . Next dilemma !

Can you indulge and give me more detail how this thing works?
Inner wells? Wheel wells? I need to raise the car and put on jack stands 1st? then raise the engine, but how does a bar and chain do this?
