engine drops a little bit and then VROOOOM

I have beeing testing several TQ carbs on my engine since my buddies Chargers have same as me TQs. Nobody down here repair those carbs since as "techs" states THEY DON'T WORK AND THEY ARE PIECES OF S**T AND UNREPAIRABLE... but I have fixed 3 LOL.

at the same time I have testing several plastic ( baquelite ) on my own carb. This "new" combo one I have joined have this stuff:

perfect at idle, practically perfect at first start at the morning ( finally understood the choke linking setup LOL ). When is already warm and start to move I have a little drop at first instance opening throtles and then VROOOOM just pressing a tiny more the gas pedal, everything perfect. I think is just geared. Not N or P as far I can recall right now however I will check for that today in N/P.

what would you think it could be ? floaters ? iddle mixture ? gas pump adjustment or failure ? I mean the accelerator pum stroker mounted on carb... gas leak ? air leak ?

even I have mooved a little bit timming, this stuff started BEFORE move dist, just changing carb.

do TQ carbs have vacuum or mechanical secondaries?

mechanical and sequencial... but drop is BEFORE even close to start to open secondaries...starts from iddle up some certain throtle opening point.

but at idle carb is perfect ( aparently )

Sounds like the accelerator pump is not delivering fuel in the first bit of travel. Re-check your float level, or pump arm adjustment.

Personally, I love the TQ.

I was thinking also on the fuel plastic line could it be leaking... I'll check today...

Checked fuel pump stroke injection and IMHO did look poor and unconsistant allong the pumping.

Plastic line tube did look good.
Changed the rubber stroker pump for a leather one that I think are better quality.
Changed the spring, not for a new one because I didn't have, but a better used one.
Changed the regular check valve plate with rubber valve for a brass plate LOT BETTER and valve with metallic ball. Also sealed a little bit the lips with nail enamel.

I got A LOT BETTER FUEL injection REALLY BIG DIFFERENCE however... got better result on street ? dunno... sometimes yes, sometimes don't LOL. In fact once I got engine died .

Float level setted at 1"

another suggestions ?

Checked the pump lever adjustment was perfect. Kit instructions states there are two stages adjustments, but don't get what the hell is the second stage. It does look for manual Transmisions only, but doesn't this affects the performance on auto too ?

still on same deal
set floats at 1 1/16" and the same, probably worst
set floats at 30/32" same results

note: only does happens with engine GEARED.
