A good friend of mine & I were invited to attend the Greenwich Concours de Elegance in CT this past weekend. On Saturday it was American cars, & European cars on Sunday. A really nice show, great setting, and some finely restored cars were there including a few Mopars.
I thought I snapped a few pics of my friend's '69 Coronet R/T convertible, but I couldn't find them.  ::) Hopefully he'll respond & add a few pics of his own as well.  :yesnod:

Car owners were asked to display their cars with the hoods & trunks closed. Engines aren't even judged. Some people had their hoods up for a short while, so I was able to snap some pics.

Here are a few pics of some choice Mopars & other makes from the show.

First, they let some bozo in with his '70 Charger R/T.  :D

A really nice '70 Challenger R/T-SE 440-6, '70 Superbird, & a '69-1/2 Road Runner 440-6:

Some '50's Mopars were there as well, including this REALLY nice red '55 Chrysler 300.

The gold '58 Desoto Adventurer convertible was an original fuel injected car, something like 4 are known to exist.
The beige one was just an outstanding car as well.

1) Not that I'm a huge fan, but this Packard was just jaw-dropping in person. A stunning restoration.

2) Can you say Bullitt??

3) The last one was a '55 Henry Ford II Lincold Indianapolis prototype car. I don't know very much about it, but it sure was interesting...

Bill and I had a great time at the show. Very interesting show...the quality of most of the cars was outstanding. There was a 31 Packard that probably had more money in rechroming than I paid for my house!! Even some of the trailers and transporters were incredible. I felt like a pauper with my open trailer. LOL

I've put up some more pictures here. http://kdebello.com/index.php?name=coppermine&file=thumbnails&album=24  The first few pics are of the boat ride around the bay, but there's plenty of car pics.

LOL You know even if I think about putting the top down it rains. I took the car out for a spin the other weekend, sunny as could be. Put the top down and 5 minutes later there was a downpour.

My neighbors dread when I pull the car out on a nice sunny day. It's inevitable that their barbques and days out in the yard will be ruined. <G>
