Hey everyone,
I am having a weird electrical problem that I wanted to ask about before I went any further.  It seems that with my dome light, light bulb plugged in I am getting a severe battery drain of about .15 amps.  When I pull the bulb out it reads .00.  The bulb is turning on and off properly when I open and close the door.

What is connected to this dome light that could be shorting out like this?  What should I look for?  All I know so far is that by putting the bulb in the dome light it is completing some circuit that is draining my battery in about 9 days of sitting.

Any help is appreciated. ;D
Thanks,
Alex

How about the dimmer switch. That will turn on the dome light as well as the door switches.

Door switches were my first guess but I always hear of those dimmer switches on 2nd gens going bad

Any type of rust on the bulb connector or any other electrical component can be a parasitic drain on your battery. Check where the bulb connects into the dome light

you could check brake pedal switch too... is on same circuit. Did happen to me and in fact got a slightly melted area on fuse box because that.
