My wiper motor works, but i can't seem to make it work with the wiper switch.
tried with some test wiring, but it wont work, unless i put a negative wire as indicated on the picture.
I have checked the switch, and nothing looks broken.
And yeah, the motor is grounded.
Anyone got a clue of what i am doing wrong?

yeah, i have heard that too, but i've opened the switch, and the housing doesnt touch the connections.
anyway, i ive tried to ground the switch, wiper linkage connection, that thing Nacho mentioned, and all at the same time,  but nothing.
I'm getting pretty frustrated.
I've also got another switch, and a motor that barely works, but the same results...

Nacho-RT74

I see more wires and prongs than the ones connected on switch by you... and I'm not talking about the 3 speeds jumper

damn, that's a good eye, you're talking about this one?
from what i can see on the diagram, it's power for the wiper fluid switch?

Nacho-RT74

No, I'm not talking about that one... as you stated does look to be the washer motor source

sorry, didnt see that picture, is that "o" symbol suppose to be + or - or something like that?

Hemidog

is it possible that i have the wrong switch? does anyone got a pic of a 68 2spd wiper switch?

Hemidog

Success! I teared the old motor completely down, cleaned&lubed it up good, and put it together, and IT WORKS! must be a bad ground inside the motor. :boogie:
The new motor in the pictures still dont work, but i guess it has the same problem.
